Terms of Service
Please take the time to read through the following terms before commissioning me. By commissioning me you agree to the terms listed below.
General Terms
• Clear and respectful communication between myself and the client is expected.• I reserve the right to terminate communication if the client should break professional conduct or in the case of a lack of proper communication. This may result in a refund or partial refund depending on how complete the project is at the time of termination.• I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
Copyright and Usage Policy
• I retain all rights to the artwork commissioned by the client.• The client may not resell, redistribute, or use the art bought from me for any type of profit. Commercial use is prohibited.• The art purchased may be printed for personal, nonprofit use such as hanging the photo in the client’s home.• The art purchased may be uploaded to character galleries and/or character pages with credit included with the image.• The art purchased may be used on social media for profile pictures, icons and/or headers with credit given.• The client may not claim the artwork as their own.• I reserve the right to use and post the artwork commissioned by the client on any social media, for advertisement or self-promotion unless otherwise agreed. The client may also request to remain anonymous.• I do not claim ownership of any intellectual property in work done such as original characters, creatures, and designs, unless otherwise stated.• I will not use the artwork commissioned by clients depicting original characters for merchandise (such as t-shirts, charms, prints or pins) without the client’s permission.
Payment
• All commissions will be paid for up front and in full through PayPal. If the commission cost is over $150 then I will allow for partial payment upfront then request the remaining amount at the time of completion of the commission.• Major changes requested during the sketch phase will be free. Small changes during the lining and coloring stages such as color adjustments and adding small jewelry/tiny details will also be free.• Major changes during the lining and coloring phase will not be free and extra charges will vary depending on the complexity of the changes requested.• Any error in the commission that is my fault (such as missing something clearly stated in or shown on the reference) may be fixed for free.
• Once the pose is approved the client may not request the pose be changed.
Cancelation and Refund Policy
• I reserve the right to cancel any commission and issue a refund to the client at any time and for any reason. If the commission has already been started this will result in a partial refund adequate to the amount of work completed.• The client may not request a refund or cancellation once the commission has been paid for. All commissions are nonrefundable.
